Spring-Roller Specifications

Rollers
Institutional quality one-piece steel roller, 11/2" and 11/4" dia., with heavy-duty springs and locking endcaps.

Slats
Hard maple, smooth and thoroughly seasoned, 11/4" or 11/2" at manufacturer's
discretion. Pine slats not acceptable. Finger splices not acceptable.

Cord
Hard braided cotton, size #41/2, attached to slat by #211 screweye and cord clasp. Eyelets not acceptable.

Hems
Shades hemmed top and bottom. All hems double-needle stitched and backstitched. Hems turned so that stitching passes through three thicknesses of fabric.

Brackets
Plated steel, with adequate projection to clear all window fixtures.

Dimensions
Shades to fit windows with maximum protection from light streaks. Finished length of shades no less than 6" greater than window height.
For use with fascia. 1018 steel stamping. 31/4" x 33/4".

Fabrics:
Close woven fiberglass base textile with sun-resistant vinyl film securely bonded to each side. Opaque, washable and stain resistant.  Flame retardant rating: Meets NFPA 701 Small Scale Min. acceptable tensile strength: 190 lbs. warp x 180 lbs. fill. Wt. 12 oz/sq. yd. 72” max. roll width. Colors available: White, Ivory, Tan, Gray, Black, Champagne, Gray/White, Chocolate/White, Wheat/White, Rust/White, Forest/White, Black/White, Burgundy/White, and Navy/White.
